Climbing Clubs
Climbing Clubs are for those who wish to learn the sport of rock climbing as a recreational pursuit or in combination with another sport. These climbers might later choose to compete, or simply focus on becoming the best climber they can. Our experienced instructors lead a weekly class. Register here!

Learn to Climb
Participants will learn basics of climbing movement, footwork, balance, climbing styles on various angles of the wall, types of holds and how to use them. Member price $20. Non-Member price: $30 which includes a day pass and rentals to be used the day of the class. Register here!

Learn the Ropes (ages 14+)
Participants will learn how to top rope belay, tie the retraced figure 8 knot, perform a safety check and best communication practices. This 90-minute class is free for members! Non-member price is $50 which includes a pass + rentals for the day of class and another day pass + rentals to practice and take the belay proficiency test. Register here!

Learn the Ropes (Top Rope Belay Certification)
Participants will learn how to top rope belay, tie the retraced figure 8 knot, perform a safety check and best communication practices. This 90-minute class is free for members! Learn to Lead (Advanced)
Participants will learn how to belay a lead climber, the added risks of lead climbing and belaying, how to be a dynamic belayer, how to clip the rope properly and efficiently, how to take a fall and how to effectively catch a fall.
Prerequisites:

Climbing experience of 6 months

Comfortable and confident climbing on 5.9s <put "leaf difficulties in parenthesis>

Able to climb three 5.10s in a 45-minute session without “taking”
